This is the disclaimer text. This event clinched him the honor of receiving the title of Swimmer of the Meet. Many Dansville athletes earned their personal best times at the meet.The next meet will be the Section V Championship held on Saturday, November 2nd at Midlakes High School.The Dansville Lady Mustangs(9-9) suffered defeat from the LeRoy Lady Knights(16-2) with a match score of 3-0. Chad Thomas (10th grade) finished in 22nd place and Zach Foster (12th grade) finished in 51st place.Both the girls and boys teams had very successful seasons with many time improvements during the season.The Lady Mustangs ended their season losing in 3 to Mynderse with game scores of 25-18, 25-17 and 25-16.

A great evening for Maddie Jacobs with 7 kills and a block. This was a magical season for modified wrestling. Maddie Jacobs broke the school record again in the shot put and finished in first place. To finish off the night we had a personal best and top 10 finish from Greg Young and for the final individual swim of the night we saw a 1-2 finish from Aidan Kreiley and Mason Wolcott in the 100 Breaststroke.

Also in the top ten were 12th grader Emma Beardsley, 10th grader Haley Conrad, and 9th grader Sophia Rodriguez and 10th grader Brielle Caruso.For the boys, 10th grader Chad Thomas came in 2nd place and set a personal record time of 17:19.

Great season, lady Mustangs!The mustangs lost a close one 30 to 28 on a last second touchdown and extra point. Fighting especially hard for the team were Emma Heiman with 3 aces and 8 digs, Sam Bishop with 10 service points and 6 kills, and Abby Roelle with 3 aces and 3 digs. Go Mustangs! Dansville plays at home on Thursday at 4:30 versus Letchworth. Robert Balconi and Devon Curtis dove to a 4th and 7th place finish.

The lady mustangs play in Pavilion Monday. Chad Thomas in the 1600 m, he’s ranked 5th in Class C.  Maggie Bacon in the 3000m, she is ranked 4th in class C. Provisionally qualifying for sectionals… Brianne Hurlburt in the 600 m - she’s one second off automatic, ranked 4th in Class C & in the 1000m, ranked 6th in Class C.  Alex Rodriguez in the 600 m & the 1000 m,  ranked 2nd in class C. Maggie Bacon in the 1500 m. Zack Kreiley with two personal bests in the 200 IM and the 500 Free, Jeff Birmingham also with two personal bests in the 50 Free and 100 Backstroke which qualified him in his first sectional meet, Jacob O’Toole rounds up the group with personal best in both the 200 and 500 Free. Emma Butters was outstanding in goal.The girls soccer team hosted honeoye on Monday. Winning 3-0 in match scoring. Dansville is a village in the town of North Dansville, with a small northern part in the town of Sparta in Livingston County, in western New York, United States. Dansville stayed in it stringing many excellent plays together but could not get the victory despite the amazing effort by all. They put in the winning goal in the first overtime. Congratulations Ladies ! Top finishers for the boys team were Zach Heiman, fifth in a time of 10:36 and Arryl Gerber in 12th. Kiersten Kennedy with 8 digs and a kill. The mustangs were defeated 1-0 after Ella Yartym scored with one second left in the first half of the game. Kiersten Kennedy had 13 digs. We are a young team and will learn and come back stronger next season!“The Dansville Lady Mustangs defeated the Arkport-Canaseraga Wolves last night for their senior night with a 3-0 match score. Nick Camuto in the 600 m with a time of 1:40 And the 45 meters in 6.4 seconds. Jillian Schramm was in net for the mustangs and recorded 10 saves. The last win came in overtime with a beautiful take down after a come from behind takedown to tie the match. Great day for the Mustangs at RIT  Saturday, January 4th.
