A very underrated Live Album from the 70's. David Live is from 1974's Diamond Dogs shows.

This is one of my favourite live albums and one of many that Bowie has put together.

The finished album has been criticised for Bowie's 'obsessive' rearrangements of the songs and for the strained quality of his vocals.

Arrived at earlier date than I was expecting it. The live performance can either be a exact copy of the studio or it can be a performance on its own.

As a result, the double-album David Live captures Bowie in transition, as he moves from glam rock to plastic soul. Brought back memories for me. Reviewed in the United Kingdom on September 30, 2015
