Interest rates are uncompetitive, customer service is lousy, merchandise is limited (no groceries) and their gas stations are few and far between. They assess card every few months and decrease its credit limit if it is not used. The letter sent with the declaration was an attempt to entrap me. In my case with OSAP, I'd pay $500 every 3-4 days after the previous transaction cleared, as it would automatically pull from my overpaid balance. Often the app shows more cards then you have and won’t show you details, or wrong details. (There are actual banks like Scotia or TD, you are a disgrace to the banking industry.) It stated that I had reported unauthorized transactions on my account. Online bills not being sent. First I was misguided by this credit card application guy who caught me in Canadian Tire and instead of upgrading my Options Card, he has made another application for the World Elite card, which has caused only trouble. Say no to greedy companies I have been having issues viewing my statement for a month online and they still have not fixed it. I got mine decreased and asked if I could get a lower interest rate as my card was paid off. I corrected it at which point they said they could not issue a new card as there have been too many changes to my account and it’s such a new account. I purchased one item using the credit card as it was offered at the store as a special offer. 6 months later they approved upgrading it to $3000 without me saying anything.

Points add up quickly and I find some decent deals often in store. I will not shop there and any mail from Canadian Tire goes directly in the garbage.

The notification was happening on and off and each time when I did not receive the notification and missed the due date payment, they charge me interest and immediately I was getting an email saying my payment was late and of course this time I would get their notification.
