In this true story, an inmate at a Norwegian juvenile detention facility leads a violent insurrection against a cruel administrator and his regime. Olav again pursues Bråthen, and the attack inspires a mass uprising. The rebellion is a fictionalised account of real events that occurred in 1915 as a group of young offenders fight against their strict rulers and harsh conditions. On the boys home Bastoy, a new inmate leads the boys to a violent uprising against a brutal regime. Bråthen is repeatedly hanged and released and then beaten. When he raises this with the Governor, the boys are severely punished and C5 is reassigned to duties far away from Bråthen. The movie grossly exaggerates the size of the lead ship of the Norwegian Navy at the time.
