Caliban immediately began to embrace his role and prepared to challenge the current Morningstar heir, Sabrina Spellman, for the throne. As the new King of Hell, Caliban abolished the Morningstar name, making himself the sole ruler of the Nine Circles. Caliban is a recurring character in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, appearing as the secondary antagonist of the third season and will return in an unknown role during the fourth season. Caliban volunteers to take the lashes as he refuses to watch as Sabrina, the Queen of Hell, be debased in such a way, proving that he does in fact have honor. Sabrina negotiates with Caliban, starting with making Earth off-limits and ending the enslavement of all souls. While Sabrina was dashing off, collecting trinkets, Caliban was arranging a coup. After months of anticipation and an abundance of fan theories, Season 3 of Caliban is the Prince of Hell who is causing issues for When Sabrina and her pals head to Hell to try to rescue Nick, they are met by Caliban (Sam Cornett). As the self-proclaimed Prince of Hell, Caliban is pompous and arrogant, believing that since he was born of Hell itself, he is entitled to rule it. He graduated from the Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts. Beelzebub interjects to inform Lucifer that they're in the middle of the quest for the three objects of the Unholy Regalia. So, as Sabrina runs for the time stone to return home with the bowl, Barabbas remains chained up to Caliban. On the third day of his reign, Caliban led his armies to Earth to conquer it and claim it as the Tenth Circle, but failed on the fourth day due to the growing power of the pagans, who had successfully resurrected their god, the Green Man, and forced Caliban and his armies back into Hell. Also, he’s made of clay, so the lashes won’t draw blood. He reminds Sabrina that he’s made of clay and that he waited under the dusts of the ages for 2,000 years after Sabrina cheated, stole Pilate’s bowl and left him for dead.

Caliban listens in on Sabrina’s conversation with Barabbas, the latter of whom tells her that anyone who has attempted to steal the bowl ends up crucified, with Barabbas being pardoned each time, running free only to end up imprisoned again in an endless time loop simply because Pontius Pilate wants to.
Caliban interrupts to challenge Sabrina for seat on the throne. However, when Pontius arrives and declares the punishment for trespassing is a hundred lashes, Caliban offers to take the lashes instead; they would not hurt him as he is made of clay, and he did not want Sabrina to be “debased”. Caliban and Sabrina are still sentenced to death and Barabbas is pardoned again, but when Barabbas suddenly grabs the bowl and runs off with it, Caliban realizes that Sabrina had used a glamour spell on herself and Barabbas; it was Sabrina that Pontius had released, not Barabbas, and Barabbas finally got his wish to die. During Sabrina’s journey with her friends to rescue her boyfriend Nick from Hell, they encounter Caliban on the beach building a sand castle. He didn’t help her because it’s a competition. Lilith and Sabrina return to Hell with the bowl of Pontius Pilate. After collecting all the pieces and Sabrina casting a spell to keep them all together, Caliban tells Harvey that for the spell to work best, he would need to take Roz to where they first kissed, which was at Baxter High. As for Caliban’s proposal, they could compete against each other to find the third item of the Unholy Regalia, Judas' pieces of silver, or they could work together to find them. Through the use of a time stone, Caliban traveled 2000 years back in time to steal the bowl, only to end up being imprisoned by Pontius Pilate, alongside Barabbas, during his search. Lucifer, now freed of his prison, returns to Hell and takes the throne, ordering his subjects kneel to him and killing Purson when the latter denounces him. He made an offering to the gods, promised he would give up his greatest love, sculpting. Sabrina gives him the coins, and Caliban reveals himself after having posed as Judas. Lilith assures him that Sabrina will return successful, having dragged Jimmy Platt’s soul to Hell. When Sabrina and her pals head to Hell to try to rescue Nick, they are met by Caliban (Sam Cornett). So, he asks her to make him a counteroffer. As Caliban prepares to challenge Sabrina for the throne, Lilith reminds him that there are rules to be followed, such as him needing a certain number of signatures. Therefore, he thinks he's a more logical successor for Hell's throne. Caliban suggests Harvey does not truly love Roz, which causes an angry and hurt Harvey to punch Caliban. Caliban and Pontius approaches the cell and tells Sabrina and Caliban that the punishment for trespassing in Golgotha is 100 lashes. By the seventh day, the angels of Heaven, led by the archangel Michael, attacked Hell and reclaimed it, killing Caliban and ending his reign. He orders his disciples to kneel before him. Barabbas informs Sabrina that Caliban’s sacrifice is noble but pointless, as it's always the same.
He has to forsake his truest love and kiss her to complete the spell and restore her to flesh. On those conditions, Sabrina accepts the proposal but adds it would be a political alliance and not a romantic one. He is also shown to be dishonorable (excluding when he offered to take the lashes meant for Sabrina in her place) and willing to cheat to get what he wants, no matter the cost.
