4.1. Not Now "Up Top" at Molly Maguires Pub.

This place was the perfect Sunday morning diner. Stopped in last Saturday (4/28) for drinks. The service was very good; the waitress was helpful, knowledgable and friendly. Root Down … The food was okay. The atmosphere was what's to be expected. The food was really good, but it was really pricey compared to what we are used to so we haven't been back since.

I had the jalapenos and guacamole burger and the meat was really flavorful.The food was really good along with the drinks. I wouldn't go out of my way to stop back in but i also wouldn't turn people away from going there.We ordered take out last night. Great spot... especially for kids!

Looked like they changed the menu and now it's not so good. The pub environment can be a tad loud and crowded, but go for the food!Stopped in here for a quick layered Guinness before we hiked the river trail. would actually have good food you'd find in/around Ireland. Poorly managed. I had ordered a side salad and when she asked a dressing choice, I asked for balsamic for which she said they didn't have.

If I could give this poor excuse for an Irish pub zero stars, I would!The Guinness is Icy cold and The pretzel twist is amazing..Salmon with the herb butter over mashed with fresh bacon spinach was the bomb ... We were a bit seduced by the fact that it was an Irish pub and they had Irish food selections, but they are so far from anything that you would find in Dublin.This was one of my favorite places to go, hang out, and eat when we lived in Phoenixville! I was hoping that someone would have ordered something Irish from the menu but no. I had a wonderful roast beef au jus  sandwich and it was delicious with sweet potato fries. Our food took over an hour and we prob wouldn't have even gotten it than if we didnt complain to management.
It is most definitely oriented as a bar, there are five of them, we were told, in a variety of rooms, including, apparently, some outdoor/rooftop/porch locations. The appetizer (cheese steak egg rolls) were very tasty--prices were reasonable but portions could be bigger, at least on what we ordered.This is my all time favorite place to go to for expertly crafted food with a very friendly ambiance. Super poor lack luster food.
