I felt bad for Anya all the way through as she was going through this really tough time at such a young age. She has to come to terms with this new development in her life, and find ways to cope. But, this one I actually read. But when Anya's wig falls off in front of the whole class, Keely realizes what she really wants is to help Anya, even though she's not sure how and even though it means she'll have to do something she's afraid of: stand up to her friends. When a disease causes ten-year-old Anya's hair to fall out, she's afraid that people will discover she's wearing a wig. 0689832982 Your recently viewed items and featured recommendations

The only reason she wrote this book anyways was because she saw a flippin sign at a grocery store!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I appreciated that the author told the story from both the point of view of a girl who has the condition and a classmate who wants to help her but doesn't know quite how.
Good book for people who have the same thing as her. I guess I just didn't like it much based on my own thought of how it should have been which seems kind of dumb.
