It's mostly a fun and frothy romance and has so many secondary and tertiary characters that we veer off from the main romance many a time. For the most part it's a good book. I couldn't keep up with all the characters and the flow of events. I don't know if I'd like this trend to go beyond this book - like, I understand the reasoning, but having read both I'm so excited for this!!! Not to mention that it always seemed like the author "dumbed" things down for its readers which was so unnecessary.
