If you’re on a budget, I suggest splitting your stay between Waikiki and Aulani or the Four Seasons and doing your island exploring from Waikiki and your pool/beach time from Ko’olina.Laie to Haleiwa and is what locals call “country.” You won’t find a Target or Costco up there. location across the road from the sea walled area of the beach (safe/easy for kids to swim).Free parking, comfortable beds, lovely staff, great pool, spa and bbq area, lovely littlewhat a beautiful hotel, sumptuous décor, incredible service, room you will want to make your permanent home with an incredible convenience stores, rental car places, ala moana mall (although a bit far), trolley & bus stops all within walking distance; but also quiet at night couples looking for a reasonable balance between price and location.Appreciated that it was in a more discreet "corner" of the Village so slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the Village but still able to enjoy all the was all so friendly, and there are so many options to make your vacation great.
